Healthcare interventions can leave lasting impacts on children and teens. The Videri Clinic highly recommends Brittany A Smith, MA, Certified Child Life Specialist at Integrative Advocacy. Brittany partners with children, teens and their caregivers to assist in the navigation, comprehension, and processing of medical settings.

Child Sexual Abuse

Child Sexual abuse is a pandemic that rarely gets noticed. If a child that you know has recently disclosed to being sexually abused, now is the time to reach out for support. If you live in Cook County you have the option to make a police report and/or call the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center for resources to best support the child you know. 

IL Association for Play Therapy 

The IL Association for Play Therapy is comprised of board members who hold extensive experience in play therapy. They host an annual conference to help other play therapist grow in their play practice. Child Mental Health

Children are constantly facing their own emotional challenges. If you are noticing emotional and/or behavioral changes in a child, try visiting Kid Matters Counseling (KMC) to receive an intake session, where the child therapist will help assess and create goals for your child's challenges. KMC therapist are experts in play therapy and parent coaching.

Adult and Couple Mental Health

The Videri Clinic works closely and highly recommends The Willow Center for Integrative Health, a team of licensed clinical social workers and licensed professional counselors. The therapist at  the Willow Center hold expertise in ADHD,  Couple/Partner related challenges, and practice using a systemic and social justice lens.

IOP/PHP for Adolescents

Greywood is  committed to identifying, understanding and treating the unique behavioral health issues that affect adolescents and young adults. They specialize in intensive behavioral health services for ages 13-26 by targeting the source of distress.
